What are Telegram bots, and why are they popular in crypto community?

Telegram crypto bots offer convenience, but they come with risks. Explore how they can simplify crypto tasks while staying vigilant against potential pitfalls. The ability to create bots is one of the main features of Telegram. By interacting with the messenger API, bots allow users to automate many DeFi functions, such as trading, managing wallets, searching for tokens, farming, and much more. After receiving a command, the Telegram bot generates a main menu, offering choices for creating a new wallet or linking an existing one. Once a wallet is configured, users can deposit funds and choose various transaction options to cater to their needs. Among the most popular projects, UniBot, Moonbot, and AIMBOT are worth noting. All of these cryptocurrencies saw significant growth in Q2 2023. Despite the fact that Telegram bots have different use cases, their price dynamics in recent weeks closely correlate with the dynamics of TON, a native coin of The Open Network, created by the Tel...

Unibot maintains first-mover status among Telegram crypto trading bots

Image
Unibot price could be over-extended, but notable user base growth and real yields paid to token holders are a reflection of the project’s strong fundamentals. Unibot (UNIBOT) token was among the top crypto gainers in July as its price rallied by 400% in a month to reach an all-time high of $199.90 on July 28. The project defied the market’s negative trend as both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) dropped by nearly 4%. However, by August 3, 2023, the token's price retraced 44% from its peak, leading to doubts about whether this surge was merely a fleeting trend. Nevertheless, it is essential to consider the project's fundamentals, which seem to suggest otherwise. The project is a harbinger of a newfound bullish narrative around decentralized Telegram bots for trading on DEXs. The total market capitalization of the sector surged above $150 million from around $20 million at the start of July, per Coingecko. While a number of copycats have launched in the market, Unibot has a dom...

TON blockchain launches on-chain encrypted messaging feature

The network previously allowed users to post on-chain messages but only in an unencrypted, completely public way. The Open Network (TON) has released an on-chain encrypted messaging feature, according to a July 3 announcement from the network’s developer, TON Foundation. The new feature allows for private messages to be sent between TON users.  TON Foundation Introduces Encrypted Transaction Messageshttps://t.co/HXKtk0gxKC pic.twitter.com/0z1z4E5ku1 — TON (@ton_blockchain) July 3, 2023 TON is a blockchain network forked from code created by the Telegram instant messaging app team. Telegram abandoned the project in July 2020, before a mainnet was ever launched. However, it open-sourced TON’s code before leaving, allowing others to continue building upon the work it had done. The current network, called “TON,” was built by the TON Foundation. The foundation claims that the network provides greater scalability and transaction throughput than other options in the Web3 ecosystem while...
